宮教大の望遠鏡で星を見よう（西多賀病院院内学級 2001）

概要
２００１年1２月４日、西多賀病院院内学級にてインターネット望遠鏡を利用した天体観望会を開催しました。
曇天でしたが、当日晴れていたら見える星空の様子の解説、インターネット望遠鏡のしくみについて説明した後に、望遠鏡を通した街灯りの映像、あらかじめ撮像しておいた木星や土星、月の画像を観察しました。
院内学級生徒の生徒のみなさんには実際に望遠鏡を動かしていただきました。
観望会終了直前に、雲のすき間から月が出たので、少しの時間だけインターネット望遠鏡を用いて観察することができました。観望会終了後アンケートをお願いするとともに、土星や月などの出力画像を配布しました。

Summary
On 4th December 2001, an astronomy outreach meeting was held at Nishitaga Special School describing the operation of the MUE Internet Telescope.
The sky was cloudy, but we described what is visible in the night sky when it is clear, after explaining the operation of the Internet Telescope and showing images of streetlights through the telescope. Images of Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon taken previously were also shown.
The pupils were then able to operate the Internet Telescope.
Just before the end of the meeting, the Moon appeared through a gap in the clouds, and there was just enough time to observe it with the Internet Telescope. At the end of the meeting a questionnaire was distributed, as well as images of Saturn, the Moon etc. taken with the Internet Telescope.

Reasons for needing more information, or not responding
■ The system was slow ■ The sky became cloudy, so the stars were no longer visible
